“The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement. And I think that’s bad
news for Iran much more than it’s bad news for the Unites States of America.”
“We’ve made very clear what our red lines are ……. And they have chosen not to
accept our terms.”
“We leave here with a very simple proposal …. That is our final and best offer. We’ll
see if the Iranians accept it.”
“Pakistan opened the door for dialogue… this is already a huge win for
Pakistan” —
These were talks which were happening at this high level for the first time after 1979.
The whole night there was hope that something would come out of it. Everyone
stayed awake. Even now, I’m talking to you after only getting three or four hours of
sleep. But the news that came was around six in the morning — only this news came
that, after some time, they would speak to the media. They called the American
press into a room. When he came, his shoulders were slumped and there was
disappointment on his face. But the others standing behind him looked very happy
and comfortable. There were smiles on their faces. The reason for that is that the
entire world knows that they are representatives inside the US cabinet and they work
not for America. These are two such personalities whose very first and foremost
objective is that America should work for [Israel’s] pleasure, and that’s why you could
see it. As I’ve always told you, and as I’ve mentioned in the last three or four videos,
his personal political milestone would come from these talks, because he is the next
candidate. He bore this failure because he has nothing to report back — that I can
become the President of America because I stopped the war. So he was upset, but
the others were very happy. And what their political background is — I’ll tell you that
later.” But when he came to the podium, what did JD Vance say? He did not even
mention the name of the State of Hormuz, which is such a major bone of
contention. And he gave only a two to two-and-a-half-minute address — the briefest
one — took just a single question from the press, and said that ‘substantive
developments’ have taken place, meaning that very positive progress has come
forward between the US and Iran in the talks. But unfortunately, we have not
reached any agreement. He gave one reason for that, and the reason was that he
said Iran is unwilling to not seek nuclear weapons — Iran does not intend to stop
pursuing nuclear weapons. Iran does not want to hand over its nuclear material to
us. That is why JD Vance said — and I am quoting him verbatim — ‘final and best
offer,’ meaning that this was the ultimate and best proposal that we had made to
Iran, and Iran rejected it.So, a country about which “Donald Trump is saying that
your civilization is finished, your government is finished, your army is
finished, your defence is finished, your air radars are finished, your missiles
are destroyed, your leadership is dead — the world’s superpower came and
said in front of the whole world that a state which we have completely finished
is not accepting our offer”. So the international press — and I will quote Reuters,
The Washington Post, and others — is reporting that JD Vance put forward a ‘take it
or leave it’ option, even though he knows that the Iranian diplomatic approach is very
slow and steady. Many people said that it was foolish to even expect that hostilities
from 1979 to 2026 would suddenly end within 21 hours of negotiations. But why was
I thinking that the Iranians were very serious? As I mentioned, first, they brought 71
members.
“First you agree on the table, then you argue about what’s on it.”
Number two, given what is happening to the economy of the world and what is
happening to the entire Gulf, there is also a lot of pressure on America. “So I thought
that these are absolutely not normal circumstances, therefore an effort would be
made to reach a conclusion quickly. But Mr. JD Vance took a ‘take it or leave it’
approach — he pushed the negotiation forward on a ‘your versus our’ framework,
meaning that it would either be your way or our way. There was no talk of a middle
path. And because of this miscalculation, the whole effort came to an abrupt end.
Many people believe that this was just the first round and that there will be more after
this. Whether they will happen or not — we are just talking about the stage. They
could also happen in, because the JCPOA, which was the 2015 nuclear deal
between Iran and Barack Obama, took two years of effort before it was signed —
two years. So to say that there will be no further maximization or progress on this
could also be wrong. But then, at the same time, we can say that the war is once
again standing at the doorstep — that is a very big question. The ceasefire deadline
is April 21 st , only a few days are left. It was announced that after this, JD Vance went
to Noor Khan Airbase and from there he left back toward America, with refueling
in Germany — meaning headed back to America. There were also reports coming
in that maybe Vance was still present in Pakistan. ”They have left, but Al Jazeera
denied this and said that all the US officials had already returned. Shortly after, it was
also reported that Iran’s delegation — which consisted of seventy-one people — had
also left. At the same time, the statement that came from Iran was that there were
‘excessive demands’ — meaning America had expectations from us that went
beyond a limit — and that’s why the failure happened. ‘Unreasonable
expectations’ — meaning they had irrational kinds of expectations from us. And
along with that, the biggest issue was a lack of trust. An atmosphere of mutual trust
could not be established, which is why the negotiations could not move forward. Iran
also said that our experience from the past two wars, in which we were deceived, is
the reason that the guarantees we wanted were not provided to us by America. But
at the same time, what signal did Iran send? It said that now the ball is in America’s
court — meaning they are saying that if America backs down from its position, then
they are still ready to open the door for talks. That’s the signalling being done. The
negotiation process moved forward in a trilateral manner — meaning representatives
of Pakistan were also present in the room. Americans were there, Iranians were
there. There is no report available on who was there from Pakistan’s side — anyone
claiming to know is lying. On this occasion, it was claimed that the temperature in the
room kept going up and down — meaning the mood of the room would sometimes
go up, sometimes down. Meaning that at times it would get very radical, in which
there were also emotions of anger, and at times it would cool down a lot. This means
tough negotiations took place. At this point, reports emerged that America made a
call in the middle saying, ‘Come back,’ or that it was from . There is no confirmation
of this at all — that a call came from either side. No source has confirmed this. I
checked whether there was any talk between JD Vance and the Israeli Prime
Minister, but in order to sabotage the talks, they kept doing their own actions and
manoeuvres (He Said). They gave an official statement that attacks on Iran would
continue, and at the same time, on this occasion, they also carried out over two
hundred attacks in, which started to influence the talks. In the view of some, while all
this was happening, before this, America’s President Donald Trump, taking Marco
Rubio with him and booking a seat, was watching UFC boxing matches inside
America, where, according to reports, the public also and shouted voices at them.
But look at the seriousness — on one side, an effort is underway to stop the biggest
war going on in the world, and the President is watching a boxing match.” Now, in
this entire press conference with which everything began, there was no mention of at
all by JD Vance.” “In this too, it is being said that the nuclear material was just being
used as an excuse. America’s real issue was Hormuz, because America is begging
Iran to resume the pre-war situation — to go back to the situation that existed before
the war. But Iran did not agree to that, because the guarantees Iran is asking for,
America is not ready to give. Because just think about it: if America first says, ‘Hand
over your nuclear material to us, otherwise you will make a bomb,’ what does
that mean? It means your claim that ‘we destroyed Iran’s nuclear infrastructure’
— by attacking and by attacking — was false. But if you are still afraid that
nuclear weapons might somehow end up in their hands, it means you were
lying. All of their nuclear material is still present at a secure location. Regarding the
‘final and best offer,’ it is being said that what was it? Now on that, it says no
information is available. Fine, because there is so much fake news. Pakistani
journalists have been getting abused since last night. ‘What did you show?
What did you air? You’ve become addicted to breaking news.’ Whoever is
saying these things on Twitter — ‘what is the standard of journalism inside
Pakistan’ — go and look at Fox News or what kind of journalism is happening in the
neighbouring country. Here, at least, objectivity is still maintained. Guests are not
yelled at, not screamed at on the TV screen, and at the same time, sensationalism is
kept to a minimum.
—Indira Gandhi
“You cannot shake hands with a clenched fist.”
I say this — in Pakistani news, we operate on a minimum budget. Take the budget of
the BBC — combine all the channels of Pakistan and it won’t even be half of that.
Pakistani journalists don’t even get their salaries, yet they still work their lives off.
They stay up all night working, with no hope whether they’ll be fired from their job
tomorrow or not. And that’s why they stayed silent — so that they don’t damage the
national interest, because we were the mediator. People here are not understanding
this: ‘Look, and BBC and Fox are reporting — where did Pakistani media die?’
Well, brother, they are reporting because their own countrymen were sitting there
negotiating — their source is direct. It’s just like if Pakistanis go to some other
country for negotiations, then my link would be with Ishaq Dar, or my link would be
with Shehbaz Sharif, or my link to get news could be with the Field Marshal —
before some foreigner goes and gets the news from them. So the straight point is:
what were you supposed to ask Pakistanis, or what news were you supposed to run
at night? What transmission were you supposed to run? Should we have started a
Ramadan transmission? Then just kept distributing a friend’s lawn all night while
sitting there and JD Vance had already made his demand? Or that Pakistan has
started inside? Meaning, talks are happening with objectivity — their secrecy has to
be maintained. We were a neutral mediator. We were not to take any side, not to run
any wrong news. Our stakes were different. So journalists have been getting abused
for no reason since last night. “Despite this, the only information that exists — it isn’t
even present in the international press — is that the ‘final and best offer’ was that,
according to , America said your assets will be unfrozen, which is a matter of seven
billion dollars, and America will reach a ceasefire if you agree to give up your nuclear
material. This was the final and best offer. There is no further information available
about it beyond this. And along with that, regarding the embarrassment thesis —
meaning America’s naivety — it is being said that they didn’t even calculate before
starting the war that Iran could close the Strait of Hormuz like this. In that context,
it’s being said that America is ready to return to the pre-conflict stage, but Iran is not
ready. What was the pre-conflict stage? According to the negotiations that were
happening in Geneva, Iran had already agreed to give up nuclear material, and the
Strait of Hormuz was also open. America is only demanding those things that Iran
had already agreed to back in February. But after starting the war, Iran became the
dominating factor in this war, which is why America is saying ‘Take the hostilities
back to reversal.’ Iran is now not ready for that without a guarantee, because Iran
says that you made us agree to this before as well, then you stabbed us in the back.
Now we want a guarantee, which America cannot give. Iran also said that they are in
no hurry to open the Strait of Hormuz, and they are in no hurry to conclude the war
either. The Washington Post also claimed that Donald Trump, taking advantage of
this opportunity, had tried to make an effort to get the prisoners who were present —
meaning the American prisoners who were imprisoned in Iran — released as well,
which is a big revelation. Everyone was waiting for Donald Trump’s statement that
appeared on Truth Social — that after watching the boxing match at night, when he
sleeps, when will he wake up and announce. So on that, he said that we will shut
down the entry and exit of all ships from the Strait of Hormuz, especially those oil-
carrying ships that paid a toll to Iran, which would be an extortion fee — an illegal
fee. That is why, if any country paid money to Iran and got its ship through, America
will block the path of that ship and attack it. Therefore, either all ships will pass
through the Strait of Hormuz, or none will pass.
—Bertrand Russel
“War doesn’t determine who is right—only who is left.”
Now this is also utter foolishness, because this is not possible. China’s vessels pass
through the most — carrying oil from Iran. Imagine if America goes ahead and stops
Chinese ships and doesn’t let them proceed — then what will happen after that? It’s
not possible at all. There is no military solution to this. Trump is deliberately not
accepting that publicly. Donald Trump also said in his statement that discussion had
taken place on many points, an agreement had even been reached, but Iran does
not want to back down from making a bomb. Now, in my view — and I don’t think —
that Iran is hell-bent on making a nuclear-grade weapon. The reason for that is that
they were ready to give this up before as well. They have signed the NPT, they have
signed the JCPOA, and in the past they had also accepted the IAEA’s safeguards.
The problem is that their trust has gone to zero. Otherwise, even if Iran doesn’t
pursue a nuclear program, they have already wreaked havoc on the world just
through conventional war. A $3,000 Shahed drone shook the entire Gulf’s economy,
destroyed the world’s markets — so what do they need nuclear weapons for?
Nothing. But that’s why they are not ready to give up the 60 percent enriched
material, because they say, ‘Your word means nothing. You make us agree to
one thing, then you impose war on us, kill two and a half thousand people,
assassinate the leader, destroy the infrastructure, attack girls’ schools — so
we have no option than to construct.’ Said that Iran wants a guarantee that
America will not break its agreement again .He is also ready to talk about the
stockpile and is also ready to open the Strait of Hormuz. This is what Vali Nasr is
saying — I’m not saying this. And he said that America says, ‘First you do these two
things, and after that there will be an agreement.’ Iran says, ‘First give a guarantee,
then these two things will happen.’ The whole matter is stuck here. But he says —
quote and quote, I am quoting Vali Nasr verbatim — he says, ‘There could be
another bite at the apple.’ There could be another chance at the negotiation
process, very soon. We don’t know at what location — it could be Pakistan, it could
be some Gulf country, it could be some other European country — but there could be
another round. And this fifteen- to twenty-day ceasefire that there was, there could
also be an extension in that. And along with that, there could be one more outcome
— and that is what a barbaric war could be restarted again from Israel’s side,
because Al Jazeera reports that Israel has given directions to its forces — meaning
the military — to prepare for war: ‘We are resuming hostilities. The biggest mistake
that was made, which shows American non-seriousness — and you can watch the
on social media you think that this is a fresh idea that has suddenly come to us —
Kushner and Witkoff should not have been present there. Their laughs and
happiness were showing that they had come precisely to do this.
—Mother Teresa
“Peace begins with a smile.”
And along with that, what is their background? Their diplomatic experience is zero.
One is Trump’s son-in-law — that’s his complete qualification, number one — and he
is a central figure of the Zionist lobby who operates on ‘Israel First,’ not ‘America
First.’ The second is sir, who plays golf with Trump and is a property dealer who
goes to every country and comes back after making his deal. And along with that,
you should know that Kushner’s company, Affinity Partners, has taken a two-billion-
dollar investment from Saudi Arabia’s sovereign fund company. And along with that,
wherever he goes, he leaves diplomacy aside and gets caught up in personal
relationships. These are the kinds of people who came to stop the biggest war in the
world — people who, to this day, have not even studied diplomatic etiquette or
relations at the counselor level. Success was a very distant thing for them, so this is
what was bound to happen. There was so much non-seriousness — if Rubio and
Vance had come, it might have been much better. But as I quoted earlier, it is being
said that the atmosphere there got spoiled because of the presence of certain
personalities. Iran did not have a problem with the entire delegation — it had a
problem with certain individuals. And this is pointing toward them. Kushner and
Witkoff were absolute red flags and disasters. AS of now, even at this point in the
negotiations, Iran has more cards. Trump says Iran has no cards, but Iran still has
more cards. One is the Red Sea card, the Suez Canal card. Apart from that,
there is the nuclear material card, the Hezbollah card, and the Hormuz card. So
many cards are present. What card does America have, sir? Only one: that we
will attack and bomb you — and nothing else.
—Winston Churchill
“Jaw-Jaw is better than War-War.”
On this occasion, Today I want to introduce you to three workers of the Noon
League. First is Christine Fair, who is one of the harshest critics of Pakistan. Anyone
who studies IR or is involved in academia knows what kind of praise she has given
to Pakistan — Christine Fair, the Noon League worker, number one, you should see
this. Number two, Ion Wells, who is a BBC correspondent and looks at the Middle
East from the closest perspective. What did she say about Pakistan? She also joined
the Noon League. Number three, Kathy Gannon, who is one of the most senior
female correspondents on the entire planet right now — she also joined the Noon
League. She also said, ‘Stamp the lion.’ What are these three saying about
Pakistan? Read one by one, then we’ll talk.‘I actually think Pakistan over the last
year has done an incredible job. So whether an agreement happens or whether an
agreement doesn’t happen, this is still a win for Pakistan. Pakistan opened the door
for dialogue — no matter what the final result is, this is already a huge win for
Pakistan. Pakistan took the risk and put it out there, and I think they played it quite
smart in terms of… and really, it was the military — General Asim said a huge victory
for Pakistan, whether talks succeed or fail.’ Number two, Ion Wells said Pakistan
has delivered. And it gave the world such an opportunity — opened such a door that
no one else could open. Kathy Gannon said that Pakistan has played it so smart, it
has done the most difficult job. Now, even now, people sitting in Pakistan are not
accepting this. They are saying, ‘These things can’t be said without taking an
envelope.’ So these three have also taken the envelope. This is breaking news for
you.
Those people who are happy about the fact that the talks failed — that Pakistan’s
mediation effort failed — should be ashamed, because they too will have to buy
expensive petrol. Brother, these talks were for you too. If you are a BJP worker
sitting in India, then you won’t get LNG either if war breaks out. If you are sitting in
India, then you too will have to buy expensive fuel. Your rations will also run out. You
won’t get fertilizer either. You won’t get tea. You won’t get any product that comes
from the Gulf. What are you celebrating? What are you beating your chest about?
—Ralph waldo
“The real and lasting victories are those of peace, and not of war.”
In this, the biggest loss is your own, and 90 million Iranians are dying — but you
don’t feel pity for them. You are saying, ‘Let entire countries be destroyed, but
Pakistan’s flag should not be raised.’ That’s why a professor sitting abroad, who
used to boast here earlier, said what? That the flags hanging outside the Foreign
Office were not ironed. This was the biggest fault he found in Pakistan’s diplomacy.
This is the level of these people. So, despite this, problems will keep increasing for
Pakistan. The reason for that is that we also did jet diplomacy in Saudi Arabia. You
know, if the war restarts, we may have to take a posture — so much pressure will
come on us. Along with this, there is news that Geo News reported, and it was that
two ships that went from Pakistan — Pakistan National Shipping Corporation’s —
which were going to Kuwait and the UAE to take millions of barrels of oil, were
diverted somewhere else on the basis of unavoidable reasons. Now they will either
go to or some other port — they were not allowed to pass through. What could be
the reason for this? There are two analyses on this. First, that the Iranians did not let
them pass through because — if not — then they won’t let anyone pass now.
— Shimon peres
“If there is to be peace, there must be a process. And if there is to be a process, there must be talking.”
Second, that there are mines present there, which is why they were stopping
Pakistan’s ships from moving forward. Because of this, they went empty via some
other route. So this is one development, sir. The second is Just as we had said that
the Saudi Finance Minister is present — just as it was said, word by word, it
happened exactly like that one day later: that five billion dollars will now be given to
Pakistan. Out of that five, Pakistan will give three and a half to the UAE, put one and
a half billion dollars in its own pocket, and in return will provide security to Saudi
Arabia and Qatar — these reports have also come in. The biggest issue was
regarding America sending people with no diplomatic experience. The way they said,
‘Take the deal, otherwise we are leaving, we won’t listen’ — this is not the way to talk
to a nation that has gripped the world’s economy by the throat. This was not the way
to talk, but they did it anyway. They were seeking face-saving — in reality, they are
begging for this: that before the war started, the Strait of Hormuz was open and they
were ready to give up nuclear material — ‘Come back to that same thing, we are
agreeing to your terms.’ But the Iranians are not ready to agree. And Iran also needs
to debate the minimum threshold. They should say that we will not do zero
enrichment either, and we will not make a bomb either — do both things. If Iran
wants to make a bomb, then come out openly, reject the NPT, say, ‘We do not accept
the Non-Proliferation Treaty, we will make a bomb, do whatever you want to do to
us.’ Fine, that thing can happen. But if they are not doing that, it means they want to
use this as a bargaining chip. So the US says zero enrichment. Iran says it is our
right over nuclear technology. But nuclear technology is sophisticated in many
countries around the world, yet they do not make bombs. There are two examples:
Japan and Germany. Both generate electricity from nuclear material, but they neither
have the intent to make a bomb from it, nor can they make one. Similarly, America
should come toward a middle path. The middle path is that a threshold should be
defined — that you will not go above this. Learn from the framework of the previous
JCPOA, find a middle path starting today. A year later, six months later, even two
years later, if Iran and America succeed, then victory still cannot be claimed without
giving credit to Pakistan — because Pakistan opened the first door. The substantive
effort that has taken place — these are JD Vance’s words — that a very big
development has taken place. Donald Trump’s words are that there was agreement
on everything except one point. This means that a very big resolution has already
happened. To hide the embarrassment, things are being said about . If two or three
more rounds happen, and if intentions get corrected, and if practical people come
and sit — who are seasoned and experienced — then this issue can be resolved.
Otherwise, Israel is preparing for another round of carpet bombings in Iran, which is
going to be disastrous news for the entire globe, including Pakistan.
Thank you.
