History is ripe with the struggles of the pen. All worthwhile changes in history have triumphed through the prism of intellectual change. The transformation of thought is the fundamental element in the rise of the greatest societies of mankind. A society is built upon the individual, the individual is built upon his thought, the calibre of his thought determines the calibre of the society. The battle of the intellect is always fought before the battle of the reform. Without the triumph of the intellect, there shall be no triumph of the reform. The movement of Nova is the movement for the triumph of the intellect. The frustrations of the pen must always come before the frustrations of the reform. No battle is merely begun on the battlefield and there shall be no culmination of any battle without the pen. It’s the pen that develops the intellect. Every battle must be first fought and won in the mind. The very fabric of the society resides upon the intellect, the intellect must be developed and guarded for the fabric to hold.
The fabric of Pakistan rests upon the intellect of the Generation-Z or the “Generation of Resistance”, if the fabric must be destroyed, so shall the state. If the fabric is developed and guarded, so shall the state. To guard, first requires to first develop. There is only one path towards the development of the intellect: Books. Books are the sternest form of resistance for any society. The “Generation of Resistance” must first develop the intellect in order to guard it. The alliance with the book must not be abandoned.
The ever pursuit of knowledge must be strengthened, only then shall the “Generation of Resistance” must triumph. Every movement breathes upon the passion for triumph. Nova breathes upon the same very passion: a highly literate and intellectual Pakistan. To put it to a layman: an educated Pakistan. The horrors of idealism have caused sufficient pain to the “Generation of Resistance”. The lessons might be forged in the thought now. The idea of realism must look terrifying but must be adopted as the “road not taken”. The movement of Nova is the movement of the “Generation of Resistance”. The destination is beautiful but the journey is filled with thorns. The faint hearted must not continue beyond these lines. The courageous must remain stoic.
How we wish to develop the movement?
Any movement thrives upon followers; Nova must thrive upon the thinker. The followers shall follow; the thinker must question. To question, requires the thought. Nova aspires to empower the “Generation of Resistance” through the development of the thought. The development of thought demands education, knowledge and critical analysis. All the three erupt from the book. Therefore, Nova must develop the reader.
Instagram Platform and Digital Mobilization
Where shall you fight the battle of attention? It must be fought where the generation of resistance shall listen. The first and foremost task must be to create the awareness for the youth. Why must they read? The drought of the intellect must be filled through awareness and influence of books. Where shall you find the generation of resistance to sing your songs to them? Instagram. Therefore, digital mobilization must be carried out on Instagram. The inspiration shall begin in the shortest of its forms: book summaries. A gradual love for books must be developed.
The Nova Website
The gradual love must be channelized to the hub. The website of Nova shall be the intellectual hub for the exchange of ideas, thoughts, opinions of the beloved generation. The frustrations of intellect to be shed on paper through articles and essays, the songs of the intellect be sung and heard by the generation of resistance. The proletariat must find their escape through the e-books. The limitations and the shackles of poverty shall no longer cause hindrance in the pursuit of knowledge. This is where the generation of resistance shall now mobilize to decide the future course of action.
Reading Circles and Seminars
The battle of the intellect must now be taken to the university campuses, cafeterias and to the drawing rooms. The generation of resistance must now meet and read. The ink of the pen shall reach to the campuses, cafeterias and to the drawing rooms. The thinkers shall show up with their books, pens and paper. The corridors of power must tremble at the sight of generation of resistance in possession of the mightiest of the weapons. The intellect shall have developed.
Village Empowerment
The fire now must not extinguish at all costs The fire of the intellect must be taken to the villages. The generation of resistance must cater for its successors. The proletariat must not be left out of the fire. Every soul must be burnt in the flames of the intellect. The generation of resistance must learn from their ancestors; we must cater for the successor. The “Generation of Extreme Resistance” must be hand in hand with us. The developed thought must be taken to the village and ignited into the young saplings. One word must dominate every hut in the beloved garden of ignorance: Intellect.
Nova House
The thinker must now turn to the streets, the junctions, and to the commercial centres. The thinkers must now form their own cafeterias called “Nova House”. Let the developed intellectuals gather, discuss and then question the whispers of their own minds. Let the generation of resistance now sing the songs of intellect out loud in the streets, marketplaces, the junctions, and every corner of the beloved garden.
Nova Libraries/Schools
The triumph approaches, the final nail to the coffin of ignorance must be laid. The thinkers of the movement must take the final leap forward towards salvation. The schools of Nova and the libraries of Nova be established to survive the thinkers and the generation of resistance. The final act of victory must be leaving behind a legacy of intellect What better way to survive than to live for eternity in the hearts of the generations of extreme resistance, and generation of change, generation of reform and the generations to live for the times to come.
Stray Conclusions
Let the annals of history remember the greatest generation of Pakistan, the generation of resistance. Pick up the book, ignite the intellect, develop the thought with the pen, guard this thought with the murder of ignorance.
